This adorable little girl turned two on Oct. 21st! I definitely didn’t go all out as in years past for her birthday. Life is a little bit more hectic, so I opted for the easy route…evite invitations, a Dora cake from the grocery store, and some Dora balloons I found on Amazon. She was super happy with a house filled with balloons and lots of fun presents to open. We kept it low key with just my parents and my sister’s family over at the house. It was perfect for her!
This little girl just loves her baby dolls! She plays with them every day. She brings them over for you to undress and redress over and over again. My parents got her a new corelle baby doll that is now a favorite! My sister bought her a baby doll for the bath tub which she has loved on so much that his little undies ripped apart. Aunt Kim and Uncle Adam sent her this double stroller from Spain that gets packed up with her babies. They even travel in the under carriage on trips around the house. Here she is taking her babies for a ride in her new stroller!
She wasn’t sure about us singing Happy Birthday to her, but eating the cake wasn’t a problem! Of course after the tears while singing to her on her birthday she will play with her Melissa and Doug birthday cake over and over and ask us to sing to her. Maybe we should have practiced before the party!
I love the week of Gracie’s birthday! It is just getting cooler outside and all of the leaves have started to change colors, but haven’t fallen off the trees. Just beautiful! We took the party outside to enjoy the weather.
I love you little Gracie girl! I am so proud of how far you have come in the past month and a half! I can’t wait to see what the next year holds for you! Love, mama
