Sweet Holiday Memories

DSC_0264-2

What an amazing Christmas memory…Breakfast with Santa at the Boar’s Head Inn.  Beautiful decorations, sweet children dressed in their holiday best, and a yummy breakfast complete with hot cocoa.  This picture is my favorite of the morning.  There were beautiful nutcrackers lining the hallways and Bradley and Ellie were in awe of them.  The decorations were just plain amazing, I think I was as spell bound as the kiddos.

Sweet Grace slept away in her car seat during the whole breakfast, so we didn’t take her out for the family photo.  Especially considering this was the best we got, Bradley in tears and Ellie not looking at the camera.  Tis’ the season!

Last year this was Ellie visiting Santa ~

It is amazing how much can change in one year, a crying toddler, and a whole new member of our family to bring to breakfast with Santa.  I never would have dreamed it in a million years that we would be a family of five this Christmas!

We went to breakfast with our great friends, Brandi, Kevin, Anna and Grey.  I met Brandi two years ago when we were taking prenatal yoga and both pregnant with our girls.  Anna and Elli are only a few days apart from each other and are best buddies.  She has become such a special friend in my life!

Then we headed outside for our carriage rides.  Here are the kiddos waiting patiently for the horses to return.

It was truly a breakfast to remember!  I love this time of year, the spirit, the wonder and seeing it all through my children’s eyes makes it even more special.  Merry Christmas!

What an awesome morning!! Guess Bradley takes after his Aunt Lindsay and her favorite emotion to wear during pictures! I hope he grows out of it quickly for you :-) Love the 2nd to last picture!!
